Dental Treatment for Children
It is important to start getting your child comfortable with receiving routine dental care at an early age. That way all the unfamiliar noises, equipment, and experiences become second nature. Important oral care information will be provided to both parent and child to make sure the primary teeth and permanent teeth are well taken care of.
What to expect
The dental appointment will last from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on what type of treatment your child needs. To ensure your child is comfortable, most procedures are performed using nitrous oxide. This is a safe method to help your child relax during dental treatment. We strongly advise regular dental visits so that we can examine the mouth, clean the teeth, and treat any potential issues. We recommend that you bring your child to us every 6 months for a check-up.
