A. Don Shaw, DDS, FADI, FICD

Dr. Don Shaw is returning to practice in his hometown of San Angelo, TX. He completed his undergraduate degree at Angelo State University and his dental doctorate at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He has practiced general dentistry since 1981 and particularly enjoys the relationships with his patients and teammates. Dr. Shaw has completed over 2000 hours of continuing education in all phases of dentistry with an emphasis in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He also has an interest in sleep disordered breathing in children and adult sleep medicine. Dr. Shaw has a passion for missions and has served in Mexico, Peru, and the US for over 30 years. After discovering another passion for teaching and mentoring he has served as a full time faculty member at the UT Health School of Dentistry for the last 6 years. Dr. Shaw is involved in organized dentistry through membership in various dental associations and currently reviews cases for The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. He and his wife Peggy have 2 grown children, 4 grandchildren, and are excited to return to family and friends in San Angelo. In his spare time Dr. Shaw enjoys spending time with family, golf, hunting, fishing, and cooking.
